We were incredibly blessed this weekend that Bret got three days/nights off for Thanksgiving. So we headed west to Atlantic!
On Thursday morning we slept in and then got ready for the Nichols Thanksgiving at Grandpa and Colleen's. It was so great to see everyone! There was tons of awesome food and awesome fellowship. After we finished eating, the boys went off to play some football and the girls sat around and did what we do best ... talk! Then around 5:30, we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Euken's for another round of Thanksgiving fun :) It was great to see them and get to spend some quality time together.

On Friday we went to Jane's house and spent some more time with cousins, aunts, and uncles.
After lunch, some of the ladies decided to go to Walnut, IA for the Antique Christmas Walk to see what deals we could get the day after Thanksgiving. Jane and I were the only ones who found deals ... (You will have to wait to see my sweet deal until I post about my bathroom makeover) There was this beautiful, huge Christmas tree in the middle of the main street in Walnut. It was stunning!
Another reminder that Christmas is just around the corner!!!!! On Friday night Grandpa and Colleen and the Jensen's came over for dinner. We had a blast playing spoons and Catch Phrase!
We had to leave on Saturday morning because Bret had to get back to work. But it was a blessed Thanksgiving and we were truly thankful this year to spend time with our family. But when we get home, it is time to buy our Christmas tree and decorate the house for Christmas!!!!!!
