4:25am tornado sirens go off
I woke Bret up and we rushed to the basement.
We turned on the tv and tried to find the weather ...
4:30am still trying to find the weather ...
4:35am the weather finally comes on channel 6 as the weather man says "Let's get a check of the weather for people trying to get out the door this morning." Who is leaving their house at 4:30am?
A severe thunderstorm warning ... high winds ... really????
So I am writing a letter to Muscatine telling them that the sirens should only be used for tornadoes. I do not need to be awaken in the middle of the night simply for wind, thunder, and lightning.

Write one from me too, please. That was just silly this morning. I woke up in a panic, smacked Lance, to which he responded from a dead sleep "Let's not overreact, it's just a thunderstorm." What?!? How do YOU know Mr. Sound Asleep? But turns out he was right ;)
