a little rain

A monsoon passed through this afternoon ... while I was at the grocery store.

I tried to wait it out by shopping slowly, but I needed to get home.

So I ran out to my car, while the super nice Fareway man put my groceries in the car.

I was SOAKED!!!! Thank goodness for Nike Dri-Fit shorts :)

I drove home around 15 mph because I could not see and there was so much water on the road that it was spraying everywhere ... thanks to my low riding Ford Focus!

And I got a towel and dried off, then I took these pictures ...

My poor flowers are tired of the rain! The forecast for the week says "Hot, Humid, and Sunny"

Hopefully that will dry them out ... and get me to the pool!!!!!
