We are currently doing a study on the book Marriage on the Rock. One of the things it suggests is to do a vision retreat each year. (To make sure that we are being purposeful with all that we are blessed with) So we set out to Galena for a little bit of work and some fun.

It was our first bed and breakfast experience ... and we would definitely try it again and recommend it to others!
Friday night we spent the evening walking Main St., browsing in the shops, eating a fabulous meal, and watching the Rangers beat the Yankees!!!!
After a yummy breakfast, we headed out Saturday morning for a local coffee shop where we could sit down to cast some vision for our lives before our baby girl joins us in February.
Then came some more shopping before we spent Saturday afternoon glued to the TV as we watched Iowa State beat Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... some of us were more glued than others ...

We celebrated the victory at the Galena River Brewing Company, Bret sampled the beer while I sampled the water :)
After a tour of the brewery and a little more shopping, we headed home ... where we made a quick pit stop at Babies R Us to look at some cribs, strollers, and other baby stuff :)

We've stayed there too before we left! It's a great B&B.. I'd also recommend it! Happy Babymoon :)
