- Bret and I met at Iowa State in 2004 and dated for 3 and a half years. We got married in July of 2007. We moved and began our lives together. Bret is an Engineer and Katie is a stay at home mom. We have been blessed with some great friends and a great church. Flying with a newborn is the easiest thing EVER....it's when you have a toddler in tow you find yourself wondering , "what the heck were we thinking?!" :)
