headed west

For the past two weekends, we headed west for some family fun! First was a trip for Crystal's wedding shower. On our way into town, Mollie met her Great Grandparents.

Then the shower was on Sunday. And I don't have any pics from that :( Mollie enjoyed some time with Grandpa :)

Another car ride home. Mollie HATED the car for 3 out of the 4 trips :( Then 4 days later we were on the road again. This time for the wedding!

And we squeezed in some time for a family reunion while we were there! First was the rodeo on Friday night.

After a sweet church service on Sunday morning, there was the mother of all slip and slides! Here is Bret in all his glory ...

We headed back home Sunday afternoon. We stopped in Des Moines for a visit with Dave, Ardi, Brian, Allie, Reese, and Cade. I will post a link once Allie blogs about it :) Then Mollie finally slept in the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think she was so exhausted and couldn't fight it any longer. Overall, she was a trooper and we all had a great time. But I am thankful we are home for a few weeks :)
