VEISHEA

After our time in MN, we spent the weekend in Ames with some friends for VEISHEA. We were supposed to stay with Allie and her family, but they got super sick and we didn't want to risk getting sick too. So, our friends Dave and Natalie saved the day and let us stay with them. Mollie was in love with their little girl, Olivia.

   

 On Saturday we set out for the VEISHEA parade. It was beautiful and sunny out. Perfect parade weather!

   

 One of Mollie's lifelong dreams came true when she got to give CY a hug. I pointed out that he was coming our way in the parade and she literally ran over to him and held out her arms for a big hug.

   

We did try to get one pic of the future couple :) Don't mind Cader, he was on his 76th Tootsie Roll by this point in the parade.

   

On Sunday, we headed home early in the morning and stopped in Iowa City to see our friends who are there while their sweet baby girl is in the NICU at the hospital.

   

If you think about it, pray for baby Elise to get to come home soon. So very thankful for so much great time with frieds!
