Since Claire's arrival came so close to Christmas we were able to celebrate our first Christmas as a family of 4 at our own home. It was wonderful! On Christmas Eve we got all dressed up and headed to church. Thanks Grandma Jill for the adorable Christmas dress! Mollie's favorite part of church was where they invited all the kids on stage to sing a few songs. She even cried when she couldn't go back up on stage. Such a tough life!
After church we came home and ate our Christmas dinner, put the finishing touches on Mollie's advent calendar ...
Celebrated Jesus' birthday!
And read the Christmas story from Mollie's new Bible
Thanks to a newborn in the house, we all were in bed on Christmas Eve by 8pm :) Christmas morning started off with some cinnamon rolls and presents. Mollie loved her new computer and Disney princess tent. However, she was probably most excited about her new toothbrushes!
Claire, on the other hand, was on the edge of her seat with excitement for most of the morning ;)
But more than any presents, Christmas traditions, or yummy food, we are most thankful to be able to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Merry Christmas!

Katie & Brett.....congrats on your new family member. Claire is so precious and I'm sure Molly thinks so too. Have been thinking about you. By the way, 12/17 is Dave's birthday too. Hope to see you soon. Ardi & Dave
I feel the same way about my princess toothbrushes, Mollie!!
