Three

This little cutie is 3 months old today!!!

   

Happy 3 month birthday Claire!!

She is still one of the easiest, happiest babies I know!! I am really thankful for her content disposition. She is still sleeping about 9 hours straight at night and taking lots of good naps throughout the day. I don't have any stats for the month because Claire didn't have a Dr.'s appt this month, but I know this little lady is growing! She is in size 2 diapers and in mostly 3-6 month clothes!

Visitors!!

Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Michelle came over for a quick visit this weekend before Grandpa starts a busy spring full of calving and planting. Everyone enjoyed some time playing with Claire. She was giving out some pretty good smiles!!

   

 Mollie enjoyed spending every single waking moment with Grandma :) She LOVED that she had so many willing playmates!

Two

 

 Happy Two Months Claire!!!

She had her 2 month check up today. Here are her stats:

• Weight: 10lbs 12oz
• Height: 23 inches

I am happy to say she is still the easiest baby :) She is sleeping from 10:30pm to 7am!!!!!!!! I am one happy momma. Claire has started smiling and cooing. Mollie is her favorite entertainer.

Claire, you are a blessing! I love your sweet smiles. I love how much you delight in watching your sister. I cannot wait to see how that relationship grows in the future. We love you like crazy!!

Still loving it!

I know most of us are sick of winter. But our house is not :)

   

 Mollie still asks to go outside and play in the snow almost every single day. The only bummer is that when it is -15 degrees, I can't justify sending my 3 year old out to play. Even though she would love it!

3 years old!

Miss Mollie turned 3 yesterday!

   

 It seems like just yesterday I was writing about her birth. She woke up yesterday and asked if she could go to preschool since she is 3. I told her I wasn't ready yet :) She also told me that since she is three now she can zip her own coat. And she did! We started off the day with a cinnamon roll breakfast and opening one of her presents. Then we went to Bible study and she got to play with lots of her friends. We had a lunch birthday party with friends at the restaurant of her choosing, Jimmy Johns! Then we had a birthday celebration with some friends at night. After lots of pizza and apples, she was more than excited to open her presents!!

   

 Robyn, Lance, Owen, and Luke came over to celebrate with Mollie.

   

 My Nannie and Papa gave me this doll house when I was little, so Bret and I decided to refinish it for Mollie. She loved it :)

   

 Mollie requested a pink cake and I was happy to oblige!

   

 Happy Birthday Mollie! We love you like crazy!

One

I think time moves a little faster with each consecutive child you have. This first month has flown by! The fact that we celebrated Christmas, went on our first road trip, and had family here for 15 days of Claire's first month of her life probably didn't make time move any slower.

Claire is seriously the EASIEST baby. She is incredibly content. And a WONDERFUL sleeper. Claire puts herself to sleep at naps and bedtime. She gives me a 5-6 hour stretch at night and I wake her every three hours to eat during the day. Did I mention that she is an easy baby?!?! No Dr. appointment this month, but I know this little peanut is growing!

-Waiting to eat

Other than that, there isn't much more that Claire doesn't like. I am really thankful for her laid back, easy going personality. But I am even more thankful God has blessed out family with another sweet child to love and raise.

White Christmas

On the 27th, we drove up to MN to celebrate Christmas with the White's. Claire and Mollie did awesome in the car! During the first few days up north, the weather was beautiful! Most of the kids loved playing outside. I will let you guess who didn't enjoy it :)

   

 Auntie Aimee got her snuggles in while the littles watched some Daniel Tiger.

   

 Auntie Leanne made Mollie and Claire an awesome dress-up box for Christmas! It has already provided hours of entertainment.

   

 Mollie and Crosby spent lots of time teaching Uncle Ryan the ins and outs of being mommies.

   

 And Claire spent most of her time in MN like this ...

Christmas!

The weekend before Christmas, the Euken's came over to meet Claire and celebrate Christmas with us. It was great to spend time with them and have some extra hands to help :)

   

Since Claire's arrival came so close to Christmas we were able to celebrate our first Christmas as a family of 4 at our own home. It was wonderful! On Christmas Eve we got all dressed up and headed to church. Thanks Grandma Jill for the adorable Christmas dress! Mollie's favorite part of church was where they invited all the kids on stage to sing a few songs. She even cried when she couldn't go back up on stage. Such a tough life!

   

After church we came home and ate our Christmas dinner, put the finishing touches on Mollie's advent calendar ...

   

 Celebrated Jesus' birthday!

 Thanks to a newborn in the house, we all were in bed on Christmas Eve by 8pm :) Christmas morning started off with some cinnamon rolls and presents. Mollie loved her new computer and Disney princess tent.

   

 However, she was probably most excited about her new toothbrushes!

   

 Claire, on the other hand, was on the edge of her seat with excitement for most of the morning ;)

   

 But more than any presents, Christmas traditions, or yummy food, we are most thankful to be able to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Merry Christmas!
