Happy New Years!

We had such a great time in Atlantic! We celebrated Christmas with the Euken's on Sunday the 28th of December. While we were in Atlantic we enjoyed the beautiful weather, went to the YMCA, and got to see lots of family and friends!

For New Years we headed over to Omaha. We saw the fireworks ... yes we stood outside in the frigid temps to watch fireworks ... it was well worth it!

Please note that the above picture was taken by the security guard who caught us breaking into the heated tent while we were waiting for the fireworks to start :)

Then we headed for dinner at an awesome Cajun restaurant. After dinner we drove back to Atlantic and rang in the New Year! On New Years Day we spent some time with the Nichols family and then headed back to Muscatine.
