Merry Christmas at the White's

We had a wonderful Christmas! We had a blast in MN with Katie's family! I drove up on the 20th of December to spend some extra time with my family. We continued the blessed tradition of decorating thousands of cut out cookies ... and we even got dad to help this year :)

Bret had to work on Tuesday night so he flew up to MN on the Christmas Eve. After a plane went off the runway in Moline, a cancelled flight, and being awake for more that 30 hours, he finally made it to MN.

For Christmas Eve dinner, Danielle and I had a blast using Fran's crafting materials to make our own version of Semi Homemade with Sandra Lee's tablescape ... you might see it on her show next Christmas season!

and nothing is complete without retro picture place cards :)

We ate an awesome Christmas Eve dinner and then headed for the 11pm Christmas Eve service at Wooddale. After church we took our Christmas pictures.

Fran bought us all Christmas pajamas this year :) So we all changed into our PJ's and then Bret read the Christmas story from Luke. We ate more cookies and headed to bed so Santa could come :) Ryan drove down on Friday and stayed with us for the weekend. Over the next few days we enjoyed hanging out together, seeing friends, and shopping! Then it was time to head for Atlantic!
