happy graduation!

We took a little road trip this weekend! Bret's cousin, Kirsten, was graduating from Pella High School. We thought it would be a great time to introduce Mollie to Grandpa Nichols and the Nichols family. We headed out Saturday afternoon and hoped Mollie would take a nap :) And nap she did!! We arrived at the party and she was whisked away by Grandma Euken for some introductions :)

We took off around 7:30 and Mollie was asleep within minutes :) She woke up again just as her Daddy sped by a police officer. The officer made an abrupt u-turn and followed Bret for a few minutes as Mollie continued to scream and the officer turned his lights on ... I hopped out of the car and into the backseat to find out that Mollie had pooped. So as I was changing her, Bret was conversing politely with the officer ... who only gave him a warning!! Lucky duck!! I think it was because Mollie was just so darn cute in the back seat with all of her cooing and giggling :) After all the chaos, we made it home safe and sound.
