What a difference a year makes! God has a way of using time to teach us valuable lessons on how to trust Him and rely on Him. Last Mother's Day was a sad one for me. I wanted nothing more than to celebrate Mother's Day as a mom. Having had a miscarriage in January of 2010 made it a tough day. A reminder of what I wanted and how I could not have it. I knew that God has plans for our family. I knew that God was going to use my desire to be a mommy in a big way, I just didn't know how. June 2010: Found out I was pregnant with this cutie!!

I am so thankful this Mother's Day to be able to celebrate being a mom! Praise God for the blessing of children, no matter how long you have to wait for them. Praise God for all the joys and struggles of being a mommy. Praise God for Mollie!

We were lucky enough to be able to spend Mother's Day with our moms! We love you both! We are thankful for all you do for us and the wonderful examples you set for me to follow as I begin my journey as a mom.
