Where to start?! At the beginning ... The plane ride home was great! I prayed that Mollie would restore every one's faith in traveling with a baby. And she did! She was asleep before we boarded and woke up with 10 minutes left in the flight. I fed her a bottle and she made sweet faces and smiled at the people sitting around us. I also want to give a shout out to the grandpa's at the airport! They were awesome and stepped in to help whenever they could.
Grammie met us at the airport and drove us home. Mollie was all smiles for most of the weekend! I guess you could say she was the center of every one's attention :) We had lots of visitors while staying at my parents house. It was so fun to introduce Mollie to everyone!
Mollie spent some time sitting in Papa's chair. I think she might be the only person he won't kick out of his chair if he wants to sit there :)
Papa showed her how is iPad worked
Grammie read some books to Mollie
Papa changed some diapers :)
Uncle Ryan fed Mollie some peaches and oatmeal
Aunt Leanne got some good smiles out of Mollie
Aunt Aimee got Mollie to show everyone her cheeseball smile
Mollie played with Nannie and Big Papa
Big Papa shared some life lessons with Mollie ...
while she just chewed on his hand!
4 generations all together
Uncle Ryan played with Mollie too
Bret and I went to a Twin's game (thanks for babysitting everyone!)
Mollie and Papa saying goodbye (before she puked all over his work pants! We went to visit my dad at work twice while we were home and a proud Papa introduced everyone to his "new girlfriend" as he called her. Mollie was kind enough to puke all over one woman that my dad works with. Needless to say, I was mortified!)
Mollie and Grammie saying goodbye
Then we began the trek home ... Mollie was watching her dvd's in the car :) The creator's of Praise Baby deserve an Academy Award in my book! And I think Mollie would agree :)
