Miss Mollie is now 8 months old! I wish time would slow down so I can soak up every single second of how precious she is. Mollie is developing quite a fun little personality. I love watching her learn new things each day. I am so thankful that I get to stay home with her!
We have some stats for this month due to an unexpected visit to the Dr. for her first ear infection ... YUCK.
Weight: 16lbs 9oz
Height: 27 1/2 inches
Now for the fun stuff ...
- Successfully made it through the 1st ear infection!!
- Babbles all day long ... da da da da is her favorite
- Likes to use her feet to play with toys
- Still sleeping from 7pm to 7am (Mommy loves this!!!)
- New foods: broccoli, cottage cheese, watermelon, and cheerios
- Working on feeding herself
- Loves to play in the nursery at church
- Loves to play hide and seek
- Not the greatest napper
- Ready to crawl at any moment
- Loves men! When we are out running errands she will smile and flirt with any man that says hi to her.
- Likes to give women the blank stare
- Favorite things to chew on:
- hands/fingers
2. bibs
3. toys
4. magnets
5. the computer cord
- Has a signature dance move called the "Shake it Girl". Whenever we say "Shake it Girl", she will shake her head from side to side. Also likes to do this when music is playing
- The cutest thumb sucker I have ever met
- Still loves to see herself in mirrors
- Loves to skype :) We are so thankful for technology!!
- Loves dogs ... she was thoroughly entertained by Lucy while we were in Ames
- And is seriously in love with this toy! Can you tell?!
Mollie you are such a precious gift. We love you more than we could have ever imagined. We are so thankful that God has entrusted you to us and cannot wait to see what He has in store for your future!
