a break

Mollie and I took a break from our regular schedule to spend a week in Ames with Allie and her fam. There were lots of laughs, tears, and endless fun! Allie's hubby was out of town for a few days so it was the perfect time to spend a week there. We had a blast amidst all the chaos that 3 kids under 3 will bring.

The weather was so nice so we took advantage of it and went on a few walks

And they even held hands :)

Then came the football part of the weekend! And the tailgating!!! It was Mollie's first tailgating experience. She was a little unhappy about it at first ... so loud and so many people. She warmed up to the idea after a little while.

And since we didn't have tickets to the game (and it was nap time) we watched Iowa State beat Iowa on TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad the kids didn't smile for the pic. Thanks for looking at the camera Brian!
