The Euken's ... Life as we know it!

Christmas: Euken style

We left Muscatine on December 22nd and headed west to celebrate Mollie's first Christmas with the Euken's. Mollie was eager to see the farm! Love is not a strong enough word, but Mollie LOVED Patch, the dog.

I think the feeling was mutual. Patch would come up to the door and Mollie would immediately crawl over and "pet" him through the door and grunt in delight.

Since we were not going to be able to be at the Nichols' family Christmas, we stopped by to spend some time with Grandpa and Colleen. Mollie was even giving out some rare snuggle time!

Aunt Michelle got some practice feeding Mollie

Grandma Euken fed Mollie a few bottles

Mollie even got to meet Elizabeth. She was Bret and Michelle's babysitter when they were little.

On Christmas eve we went to church and celebrated with the extended Euken family. Mollie was quite a ham in church. She enjoyed throwing cheerios on the floor, making lots of noise with the bulletin, and making lots of un-lady like noises if you know what I mean :)

On Christmas morning, Mollie was a little unsure about how this whole present opening should go. Good thing Grandpa Euken was there to help!

Aunt Michelle helped too! Aren't Mollie's new boots so cute?!?!

After opening presents we had brunch with Grandpa Nichols and Colleen. The weather was so nice, we decided to take Mollie out to experience the farm. (That is worthy of an entire blog post of its own!).We visited the Nichols family later that afternoon. After a bath by Grandma Euken the next morning

We were on the road again! Thanks for such a wonderful Christmas!!

I love the matching family pic too!

I can't begin to imagine Mollie being unlady like in church. I hope you pinched her buns for me.
