VEISHEA

We went back to Ames this weekend for VEISHEA and to spend some time with the Wulfekuhles. Check out Allie's blog for more VEISHEA highlights. 100,000 years ago when we were in college, it was always 80 and sunny for VEISHEA. But, like last year, it was chilly and rainy. However, not too chilly to venture out to the parade.

(Brian was making up for Cade's lack of enthusiasm for the parade)

To say that Mollie enjoyed the parade would be an understatement. I can't think of an adjective to describe how much she loved the parade. For 2 hours she danced to the music, clapped wildly for any and all parade participants, waved to people on the floats, and barked/neighed at all passing animals. Pure happiness! And we didn't even have to share our candy.

Here she is mid "woof"

While we had the kiddos together, we took a couple of pics. Thanks for smiling Reese :)

Mollie spent lots of time chasing Lucy. Lucy obliged a few times and sat still enough for Mollie to gently pet her. But really, Lucy just wanted a taste of some pbj leftover from lunch.

Last but not least, I will leave you with a pic of the lovebirds!
