Mollie: 15 months

 

BUSY! If I had to pick one word to describe Mollie that would be it. Our days are filled with non stop movement, talking, and exploring.  Mollie still uses lots of sign language: please, more, all done, book, eat, milk, water, play, and baby. She is starting to say more and more words. Her favorite word is probably whoa or hi. She LOVES to dance and listen to music. Story hour at the library is one of the highlights of our week. This is such a fun stage!

Loves to read books! Will sit in her room and look at books for ever. Her favorites are Are You My Mother, Doggies, and Brown Bear Brown Bear.

  

LOVES to Skype! The moment the computer is opened up, she will walk over to it and sign please. She loves when people sing to her :) She also shows off her sweet dancing moves quite often.

  

Eats like a big girl! She is becoming quite a picky eater. She will try new things with some coaxing, but sticks to her favorite carbs, yogurt, and fruit when they are offered. Not a big milk drinker, but loves water. Working on using utensils while eating. This might take some practice :)

   

Has some long, thick, curly hair. She doesn't like to keep bows or barrettes in. However, once she pulls them out of her hair, she will bring it to me.

  

Has a few favorite small toys that she likes to carry around for the day. For example, these are the flowers that button on to ta book Aunt Michelle made her. She will set them down by her high chair to eat and pick them back up once she is out. Quite a fun hobby. Hope this does not lead to hoarding!

  

 Loves her friends! However, has a hard time sharing. As you can see, they were pulling the toy towards each other to keep it away from the other. So fun!

  

 A little mommy in training :) Carries her baby around and/or pushes her stroller around the house. Usually with only one hand. Strange-o!

 

Mollie you are wonderful! We are blessed by you and love you more than we could ever express!
