Literally ... my blood is still boiling.
Situation: student A. opened her locker and hit student B. in the arm and I just happened to be in the hallway to hear what happened.
A: "Sorry."
B: "Sorry doesn't cut it." said in the tone that a hormonal 16 year old would say to someone who stole her boyfriend
I lost it ..... let's just say it wasn't pretty.
Then during rest time student A. came up to me and asked what "sorry doesn't cut it" meant.
How do 5/6 year old girls get this mean?????
If you have solutions to dealing with this, please let me know.

You should bring your bull horn :)
Did you call her parents? That worked for my hormonal, actual 16-year-olds.
Sometimes these kids get the wrong lesson in conflict management at home!
Frustrating that "mean girls" start being mean so young. :(
Glad I never had any mean girls at my house!!! Not to say that we didn't encounter mean girls, they just were not allowed at the White House.
