Graduation + Mom's Day

Bret's cousin Vince is graduating from high school and had a big fiesta to celebrate. Since we love our family and friends, we headed west for a quick trip to Ames for the graduation party and some time with friends.

Mollie got to see lots of the Nichols family and got LOTS of love from Grandma Euken and Aunt Michelle. We miss you Grandpa Euken!

 

Cousin Charlie was awesome at "Patty Cake". All Mollie could do was stare in amazement! Next time we will have to show him "If You're Happy & You Know It!"

  

After the party we put Miss Mollie to bed and enjoyed our evening with some of our great friends from college. After a late night and an early morning it was Mother's Day! One of my favorite holidays :) Mollie woke up super early because she was so excited to tell me how much she loves and appreciates me. She even colored a pretty picture for me! Thanks Allie. Bret took care of Mollie all day! He was in charge of breakfast.

  

 He got her dressed for the day, changed all the diapers, fed her, got her ready for naps, entertained her in the car, let me shop by myself :), made dinner, and much more. Isn't he the best?! Mollie got me a pedicure for Mother's Day! I think she had a little help from Daddy.
